Welcome to the Havering Branch
of the BCSS
We are now able to relaunch the Havering Branch from September 2021.
We are a small, enthusiastic, friendly Branch which was formed in 1966.
We are now able to meet in our preferred venue of the Holy Cross Church Hall, in Hornchurch. We meet on the third Saturday of the month excluding January, February, August and December. See our contact page for more details of how to find us and our meetings page for our 2021 programme.
We have a varied programme of regular meetings which usually consist of an illustrated talk from a visiting speaker. We also hold a non-competitive display of plants at each meeting, a great opportunity to see and admire each other's plants, and there are often plants for sale.
We also enjoy taking part in the local Town Shows to sell plants and offer advice on their cultivation.
We run a biennial Cactus Mart which attracts most of the leading UK cactus and succulent nurseries. The next Mart will take place in 2022. See our Cactus Mart page for details which will be updated as soon as possible.
So why not come along and see if this is for you. You will be assured of a warm and friendly welcome.
